We've been traveling to India for 15 years and have led several group trips throughout the country. During the upcoming India Tour, we will spend four nights at a 5-star hotel in New Delhi and five nights at a mountainside resort in Rishikesh, perched along the sacred Ganges River with sweeping views of the foot of the Himalayas.
This is an invitation to break out of the ordinary, embrace the unknown, and discover what it means to feel alive. Take a look at the itinerary below to get a feel for this unforgettable adventure.
Our Itinerary

NEW DELHI + AGRA:
Day 1: You will be met at the New Delhi International airport and transferred to our hotel where you'll have time to unwind from your long journey. We recommend a flight that arrives in the afternoon or evening so that you can check into your room upon arrival.
Day 2-4: Our journey begins in India’s vibrant capital, where ancient and modern worlds meet. We’ll visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in the evening, one of the largest Sikh temples in the world, to take part in a communal meal. A full-day city tour includes exploring the electrifying streets of Old Delhi. There is also the option to enjoy dinner at one of India’s most acclaimed restaurants. Another day, we'll travel by train to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal, one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Enjoy time to stroll the grounds, take photos, and marvel in its splendor.
Day 5: We will depart Delhi via private transportation and make the journey to Rishikesh. Enjoy watching local life unfold as we pass through various towns and rural villages. There will be a stop for lunch along the way, as well as dinner upon arrival. If time permits, we'll enjoy an evening ceremony along the banks of the Ganges River.
RISHIKESH + HARIDWAR:
Day 6-9: Considered to be the yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh has long been a magnet for spiritual seekers. Experience grounding yoga by the Ganga and sound immersion sessions. We’ll study with our teachers, Keya—a classical Indian vocalist and harmonium instructor—and Nirmal, a master tabla percussionist. Together, we'll explore Chaurasi Kutia - where the Beatles were in the 60s. One day will include a nature hike along the Himalayan foothills, exploring pilgrimage trails and meditating in caves once used by renowned sadhus. Another morning will begin with a sunrise visit to a mountaintop temple, followed by a village hike. In the afternoon, we take part in an Indian cooking class filled with vibrant spices and fresh flavors. We'll also take a day trip to visit to our teacher Nani Ma’s ashram and the Ganga Prem Hospice she founded, followed by time in the holy city of Haridwar for cultural exploration and an ancient ceremony in the evening.
Day 10: Like all good things, our trip comes to an end in Rishikesh, but you will always carry with you the memories of this unique and unforgettable experience! A domestic flight back to Delhi is included, so that you can continue in your adventures or begin your journey home.
Several yoga practices will be woven into the itinerary, as time permits.
