The Places You'll Visit
This is our meeting point to begin the trip! If you join us for the Hanoi Add-on, you will arrive early & have 3 extra nights here to explore the culture of the city, go to a nearby village to share a homemade meal with locals, visit a Vietnam war museum to learn more about Vietnamese history, as well as take part in one of the most incredible street food tours of your life! If you do not join us for the add-on, Hanoi will simply be your landing point - you'll arrive on 4/14 and we will depart for Halong Bay as a group the following morning.
Behold one of the greatest spectacles on earth! You will take one of the most impressive voyages through the emerald waters of this UNESCO World Heritage site, staying aboard a luxury ship for 2 nights. Halong Bay has been named one of the world's new seven wonders of nature. Witness over 1600 towering limestone pillars that provide a natural beauty of epic proportions. On the boat you can take part in food demonstrations, games, get massages, and observe the most glorious sunrises/sunsets from the rooftop sundeck. Enjoy time off the boat to kayak around the bay, visit a floating village + pearl farm, go swimming, and explore hidden caves/islands.
Visit one of the most charming and culturally rich cities in Vietnam. We will explore this UNESCO World Heritage riverside town through a cycling tour through the Cam Nam island, connecting with friendly locals, and relaxing on the nearby smooth beaches. Use your spare time to lay out by the pool, get massages, take a cooking class, practice yoga, get tailored made clothes, and eat/shop your way through the colorful lantern-lit street markets.
Like all good things, our trip will come to an end with a flight back to Hanoi for your journey home,
but you will always carry with you the memories of this unique and unforgettable experience!
