Retreat Terms & Conditions

DEPOSIT
A non-refundable deposit is required for your booking to be confirmed. This amount is outlined on the specific retreat page and is applied towards your total cost. If your booking is made within 120 days of the departure date then the additional 50% of your remaining balance is also due at the time of registration. If your booking is made within 90 days of the departure date, the full amount of the trip is due at the time of registration.

 

FULL PAYMENT
Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you a registration form/waiver and an invoice for the balance. If you have chosen to make payments, 50% of your balance is due 120 days prior to the start of the retreat and full payment is due 90 days prior to the start of the retreat. You may pay with credit card or check (preferred). Please note a fee of 4% will automatically be added to all credit card payments.

LATE PAYMENTS 
We must pay our tour operators in advance; therefore we must collect your full payment no later than 90 days in advance of the start of the retreat. If you do not pay in full in 90 days or more from retreat date, we will either add $150 late payment fee to your invoice or your spot may be forfeited with no refund.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel before more than 120 days before the start of the retreat, monies received beyond the non-refundable deposit will be refunded (less any credit card fees, if applicable). If you cancel less than 120 days prior to the start of the yoga retreat, a refund of monies paid beyond the non-refundable deposit is only available if you can provide another client to fill your space. In the event of any refunds, a $150 administrative fee will be deducted. Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays, or illness. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy will apply, with no exceptions. We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances, but we have costs already incurred when reserving retreat centers and hotels. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the case that your plans change. To insure yourself further, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.

 

IF WE CANCEL THE YOGA RETREAT
In the unlikely event we have to cancel a trip due to not enough participants, we will refund to you all deposits and payments you have paid (less credit card fees, if applicable). We cannot however compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred. In the unlikely event that we must cancel a yoga retreat due to weather, natural disaster, war, political upheaval, health crises, pandemics, or any other circumstance outside of our control, we cannot guarantee any refunds. To cover these risks, again, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that each trip member purchase individual travel insurance for their trip. It can be a minimal expense for the benefits it provides. We highly suggest that you include the “cancel for any reason” option and a policy that includes medical coverage. The best way to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstance is to purchase trip insurance.

 

Travel insurance can protect you in case:

  • you cancel your participation in the yoga retreat

  • retreat is cancelled due to weather, natural disaster, war, political upheaval, health crises, pandemics, or any other circumstance outside of our control, or not enough participants to run the trip

  • lost or delayed baggage

  • medical expenses should you become ill or injured


There are a variety of travel insurances, some of which include the option for a comprehensive “cancel for any reason” policy. If you have to cancel your participation in the retreat, your airfare, hotel, retreat costs, etc. can be covered in partial or full. **Please note that many policies require that you secure coverage within 7-15 days after making your initial trip payment (i.e. your deposit with us) in order to add the "cancel for any reason" policy.** It is your responsibility to choose a travel insurance carrier and educate yourself on their specific terms.. Please do research to find what meets your needs best.
